Midwifery Care Coverage
Happy Fall! We have an exciting announcement for those of you planning future pregnancies!! We hope this post finds you and you families well and that you are enjoying the change of the seasons with your little ones in your arms or growing snug as a bug in your bellies.
Ariana is now a contracted provider with Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHM)! This is an amazing health-share company that covers the cost of my midwifery care services in full! (unlike all traditional insurance companies that won't pay for any part of midwifery care without the whole billing process that's like pulling teeth, and then its only a small reimbursement).
I have worked with CHM many times and I'm thrilled to say that they actually function the way you expect an insurance company to work; you pay your monthly membership fee and they pay for the care that you want. The end! The only thing that's difficult is that you HAVE TO SIGN UP AT LEAST 30 DAYS BEFORE YOU GET PREGNANT! Which is why I'm sending this email to let you all know about this wonderful company.
Its amazing. And now they pay me directly! Clients are only responsible for an initial deposit of $1,000 to Next Generation Midwifery and then CHM pays me directly for the rest. Here's an explanation from their website which is also linked below.
"CHM is a faith-based alternative to health insurance. It’s a membership-based, nonprofit ministry. As part of a biblical covenant, CHM members step in and help fellow brothers and sisters in Christ pay eligible medical bills according to the CHM Guidelines."
