We provide safe & comprehensive prenatal care, home birth services, postpartum and newborn care for families in the greater Sacramento area.

The midwifery model of care stresses empowering YOU to make informed choices and decisions for your own healthcare through education in evidence-based practices and holistic alternatives to traditional medical care. This approach to pregnancy and postpartum care is Whole Person and Whole Family focused, rather than focused solely on a uterus and fetus. The Midwifery Model of Care treats this stage of a woman’s life, not as a “problem” to be “managed”, but as a normal, natural function of a healthy body, to be observed and supported with respect and calm attention to personal detail.

Good prenatal care includes so much more than clinical measurements. In addition to all standard care and testing, We focus on nutrition and wellness, stress management, birth & postpartum preparedness, and collaborative decision making throughout all aspects of your care.
This helps us build a relationship of trust and understanding so that by the time you go into labor we know what you do and don’t want for yourself and your baby. This is just one of the many benefits you receive with full continuity of care. You’ll have the same midwives take care of you throughout your pregnancy, birth, and all of your postpartum and baby care for a full 6 weeks.
